This past weekend Larry and I celebrated our first anniversary. He started off the weekend well by sending me this beautiful bouquet at work Friday afternoon:
Friday night I (successfully) cooked us dinner: Basil-Infused Watermelon Martinis, Chicken Aglio e Olio, and Chocolate Molten Cakes for dessert.
Saturday we got brunch at Whitlows and then walked around Clarendon Day for a bit. We came back and watched the Nationals beat the Phillies (and followed the Mets winning online). Saturday night we had a great dinner at Tenpenh and then met up with Nicole, Vinny, and everyone else in Adams Morgan.
