This weekend I Amtraked it up to NY for the weekend. On Friday, after exchanging our V-day gifts, Larry and I got dolled up and went to A Voce for dinner (and dessert. and a port).

On Saturday we hiked it uptown to go ice skating in central park. We only lasted about an hour (we skate hard), and then followed it up with a hot chocolate and snack at an italian bistro nearby. The rest of the day we hung out around the apartment (the hot chocolate didn’t settle well with me), and then hit Koi for dinner with a few of Larry’s friends. The Koi in NY (like LA and Vegas), did not disappoint. After dinner we got a couple beers, and ended the night with some gravy fries at the diner

On Sunday Larry and I did a little shopping (and a few other things) in flatiron, followed by…Pinkberry!

That night we cooked a family dinner for us and the roomates – Asian peanut cheicken skewers with Thai rice and vegetables.

And for dessert, creme de menthe ice cream parfaits!

After dinner Larry and I attempted to watch the movie No reservations, but about 20 minutes in Larry spilled his entire glass of wine on my lap (which i think he did on purpose to stop the agony).

Then on Monday it was brunch and then back to DC for me!
