I stayed in DC for Easter weekend, so I celebrated Easter with Meliss & Nicole drinking a lot of wine cooking dinner and making, of course…

This weekend we celebrated my, Brittany, and Vinny’s birthdays! First up, dinner Friday night at the awesome Harry’s Tap Room for Brittany’s birthday, followed by some drinks at Whitlows.

Saturday night was my time. We did dinner at La Tasca, which has a great group menu full of lots of yummy stuff. After dinner we met up at Vinny’s, and then went to EyeBar in DC for our pa-tay.

From what I remember, it was a fun night! Here are some pics:

This was a NY weekend. On Friday I took the train up. I got in kinda late, but once I did Larry and I decided to go to our new favorite place, Gottino, which is a tiny wine bar in the West Village.

Our intention was to a have a glass or two, but four hours and six glasses later I found myself watching Larry argue discuss politics with our sweet waiter Matt. We basically closed the place down (but definitely paid for it the next day).

Saturday morning I met my mom and sis to see the 2008 American Cup at MSG,

followed by an early dinner (which Larry joined us for, although his hangover caused him to stare at his soup more than anything else ). That night we went out with some of Larry’s friends for a birthday party, but had a pretty early night (which ended with some yummy cheese steaks!).

Sunday it was back to Penn Station and back on the train…til next time.
