This weekend Larry and I officially moved (some of) our stuff into the new apartment. I drove up from VA on Friday with everything I could fit in my car (mostly to keep at my parents for the September garage sale), and then Saturday morning made my way into the city. After getting lost twice and passing 4 Gary V billboards, I arrived at 229 Chrystie St. As Larry’s Dad painted away, and C & B and West Elm delivered stuff, Larry and I put together our patio furniture, TV stand, and coffee table and made a couple of trips to Larry’s old apartment to pick up the rest of his stuff (which included getting the best parking spot ever after one trip back.

That night we went over to Reed & Jess’s new place for their housewarming party (where we stole a few ideas for our place as well ). Sunday morning we put together a few more things, and then it was back to VA for me.
